A Cure for Slickness

“Dissatisfied with the computer-generated digital revolution, I clung to artists, writers, and filmmakers that championed our ugly imperfections. Airbrushed heavy metal album covers, punk zines, horror comics, dystopian science fiction, and pre-internet outsider art scratched the proverbial itch. They were all instrumental in my emotional and psychological responses to the ever-slick digital landscape.”
